Website and Youth Basketball Program Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
These Website and Youth“Terms”) govern access to the website, registration systems, communications, basketball training programs, events, and related services offered by 4 THE LOVE OF THE GAME, LLC (“4 The Love of the Game,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing our website, registering a participant, purchasing a training session or program, or allowing a minor child to participate in one of our activities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you are registering a minor participant, “you” refers to the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
1. Parent or Legal Guardian Authority
Participants under 18 years old must be registered by a parent or legal guardian who has the legal authority to make decisions for the participant.
By registering a minor, you represent that:
You are the participant’s parent or legally authorized guardian.
The information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are authorized to approve the participant’s involvement in the selected activity.
You agree to communicate applicable program rules and safety expectations to the participant.
You will complete all required waivers, acknowledgments, medical information, and consent forms before participation.
A minor may not independently accept these Terms, register for a program, authorize promotional communications, or sign participation documents unless legally permitted to do so.
2. Basketball Programs and Services
4 The Love of the Game provides youth basketball instruction and development opportunities that may include:
Private basketball training
Semi-private basketball training
Group basketball training
Competitive open runs
Basketball clinics and camps
Skill-development sessions
Basketball IQ and decision-making instruction
Conditioning and movement activities
Mentorship and accountability activities
Assessments, evaluations, and related events
Program descriptions, schedules, age groups, locations, session lengths, availability, pricing, and coach assignments may vary.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to program schedules, locations, formats, coaches, group sizes, or activities when necessary for safety, facility availability, weather, enrollment, or other operational reasons.
3. Registration and Enrollment
Submitting an inquiry, contact form, or booking request does not guarantee enrollment or reserve a training time.
Enrollment is confirmed only after:
The registration has been accepted;
Required payment has been received;
All required forms have been completed; and
The participant has satisfied applicable age, skill, health, and program requirements.
We may deny, suspend, or cancel registration when:
A program has reached capacity;
The participant does not meet the stated program requirements;
Required information or documentation has not been provided;
Payment has not been completed;
Participation may create an unreasonable safety concern; or
The participant or parent has violated program policies.
4. Athletic Instruction and Results
Our programs are designed to support basketball development, confidence, teamwork, accountability, decision-making, conditioning, and competitive experience.
Participation does not guarantee:
A specific level of athletic improvement;
Increased playing time;
Selection for a school, travel, recreational, college, or professional team;
A scholarship or recruiting opportunity;
Improved statistics or game performance;
A particular evaluation or recommendation; or
Any other specific athletic result.
Player development depends on many factors, including attendance, effort, attitude, physical ability, health, practice outside of scheduled sessions, and the competitive environment.
Coach feedback and player evaluations represent professional observations and opinions at the time they are provided. They are not promises of future performance.
5. Participant Health and Medical Fitness
Basketball and athletic conditioning require physical exertion.
Before participating, a parent or legal guardian must determine that the participant is physically and medically able to participate safely. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional when the participant has a medical condition, recent injury, physical limitation, or other health concern that could affect participation.
You agree to disclose relevant information that may affect the participant’s safety, including:
Allergies;
Asthma or breathing conditions;
Heart or cardiovascular conditions;
Seizure disorders;
Diabetes;
Prior concussions or head injuries;
Recent surgeries;
Bone, joint, muscle, or ligament injuries;
Physical restrictions;
Medications that may be needed during the activity; and
Any other condition that could affect safe participation.
Coaches and staff are not physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, or medical providers unless specifically identified as such. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medical treatment, or determine whether a participant is medically cleared to participate.
6. Risks of Basketball Participation
Basketball training, conditioning, competitive play, drills, and related activities involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
These risks may include:
Slips, trips, and falls;
Collisions with players, coaches, equipment, walls, or playing surfaces;
Contact with basketballs or other athletic equipment;
Sprains, strains, bruises, cuts, and fractures;
Muscle fatigue, dehydration, overheating, or physical exhaustion;
Dental injuries;
Eye or facial injuries;
Concussions and other head injuries;
Serious bodily injury;
Property damage; and
In rare circumstances, permanent disability or death.
Participation may also involve risks created by the actions, mistakes, negligence, or intentional conduct of other participants. Parents and participants are expected to follow all safety instructions and immediately report injuries, symptoms, unsafe conditions, or concerns to a coach or staff member.
7. Separate Waiver and Release Forms
These Terms are not intended to replace any separate participation agreement, assumption-of-risk form, liability waiver, concussion acknowledgment, medical authorization, or emergency contact form required by the Company.
Before participating, a parent or legal guardian may be required to sign separate documents addressing:
Acknowledgment and assumption of inherent athletic risks;
Release of claims to the extent permitted by applicable law;
Emergency medical authorization;
Concussion and head-injury awareness;
Participant health information;
Transportation, when applicable;
Photography and media permission; and
Facility-specific requirements.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separately signed participation agreement, the separately signed agreement will control regarding the subject it specifically addresses.
8. Concussions and Head Injuries
A participant who is suspected of sustaining a concussion or head injury may be immediately removed from the activity.
Possible symptoms may include headache, dizziness, confusion, nausea, balance problems, vision problems, sensitivity to light or noise, unusual behavior, memory difficulty, or loss of consciousness.
A participant removed because of a suspected concussion or head injury may not return to training or competitive play until the Company receives appropriate written medical clearance from a qualified healthcare provider when required by Company policy or applicable law.Parents and participants must not conceal concussion symptoms or pressure a coach to return a participant to activity before it is safe to do so. The Company may require an annual concussion and head-injury acknowledgment before participation.
9. Emergency Medical Care
If a participant becomes injured or ill and a parent or emergency contact cannot be reached, you authorize the Company and its staff to take reasonable steps to protect the participant’s health and safety.
These steps may include:
Providing basic first aid;
Contacting emergency medical services;
Arranging transportation by emergency personnel;
Sharing relevant health and emergency contact information with medical responders; and
Remaining with the participant until a parent, guardian, or emergency contact arrives when reasonably possible.
The Company does not guarantee that medical personnel will be present at every activity.
The parent or legal guardian is responsible for costs associated with ambulance services, emergency care, medical treatment, hospitalization, medication, and related services.
10. Participant Conduct and Sportsmanship
Participants are expected to demonstrate:
Respect for coaches, teammates, opponents, parents, officials, and facility staff;
Appropriate sportsmanship;
Effort and coachability;
Accountability for their actions;
Safe use of equipment and facilities;
Compliance with coach instructions; and
Age-appropriate behavior and language.
The following conduct is prohibited:
Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or hazing;
Fighting or deliberately unsafe physical contact;
Threats or violent behavior;
Discriminatory or abusive language;
Intentional damage to facilities or equipment;
Possession of weapons, alcohol, illegal drugs, or unauthorized substances;
Repeated disruption of training activities;
Refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions; and
Conduct that places another person at risk.
We may issue a warning, remove a participant from a session, suspend participation, or terminate enrollment when conduct creates a safety concern or substantially interferes with the program.
Serious misconduct may result in immediate removal without a refund or credit, except where otherwise required by law.
11. Parent and Spectator Conduct
Parents, guardians, and spectators must behave respectfully toward players, coaches, officials, facility staff, and other families.
Parents and spectators may not:
Enter the training area without permission;
Interrupt coaching or drills;
Confront or threaten a participant, coach, official, or other parent;
Use abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate language;
Encourage unsafe or unsportsmanlike conduct;
Record or photograph participants in violation of facility or Company rules; or
Interfere with the operation of a session.
We may require a parent or spectator to leave the facility or restrict future attendance when their behavior is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, or inconsistent with program standards.
12. Attendance, Arrival, and Pickup
Participants should arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and prepared with any required equipment, water, medication, or protective gear.
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
Confirming the correct date, time, and location;
Ensuring the participant arrives safely;
Remaining available by telephone during the activity;
Providing accurate emergency contacts;
Picking up the participant promptly when the activity ends; and
Not leaving a participant before an authorized coach or staff member is present.
The Company is not responsible for supervising participants before the designated arrival time or after the designated pickup period.
Repeated late pickup may result in additional fees, suspension, or termination of enrollment.
13. Equipment and Clothing
Participants must wear appropriate athletic clothing and basketball footwear.
Jewelry, watches, unsafe accessories, or clothing that creates a safety risk may be prohibited.
Participants are responsible for bringing any personal equipment identified in the program description. The Company may prohibit the use of damaged, inappropriate, or unsafe equipment.
The Company does not guarantee that personal equipment will prevent injury.
14. Payments and Fees
Program fees must be paid according to the terms displayed during registration or included in a written program agreement.
Prices may vary by program, coach, package, location, group size, or promotional offer.
You are responsible for:
Reviewing all charges before completing a purchase;
Providing valid and authorized payment information;
Paying applicable registration, training, processing, facility, or late fees; and
Maintaining current payment information for any authorized payment plan.
The Company may suspend participation when an account has an unpaid balance.
Chargebacks or payment disputes submitted without first contacting the Company may result in suspension of registration privileges while the matter is reviewed.
15. Cancellations, Rescheduling, Credits, and Refunds
Cancellation, rescheduling, make-up session, package expiration, credit, and refund rules may differ by program.
The policy displayed on the applicable booking page, checkout page, registration form, invoice, or program agreement is incorporated into these Terms.
Unless a different written policy is provided:
A participant who cannot attend must notify the Company as early as possible.
Missing a session does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund, credit, or make-up session.
Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session and fee.
Make-up sessions depend on coach, program, and facility availability.
Training packages may have stated expiration dates.
Promotional, discounted, or special-event registrations may be nonrefundable.
Fees already earned for completed services are nonrefundable.
Any approved credit must be used within the stated credit period and has no cash value unless required by law.
16. Company Cancellations and Facility Closures
The Company may cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify an activity because of:
Severe weather;
Unsafe facility conditions;
Facility closure or loss of facility access;
Coach illness or emergency;
Low enrollment;
Power outages;
Government orders;
Public-health concerns;
Transportation problems; or
Other circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control.
When the Company cancels an activity, we may provide a rescheduled session, substitute coach, account credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable program policy.
We are not responsible for indirect expenses resulting from a schedule change, including transportation, childcare, lodging, missed work, or other personal costs.
17. Personal Property
Participants and families are responsible for their personal belongings.
The Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged items, including:
Phones;
Bags;
Clothing;
Jewelry;
Basketballs;
Shoes;
Water bottles;
Electronics; or
Vehicles and property left inside vehicles.
Valuable items should not be brought to training.
18. Photography, Video, and Media
The Company may photograph or record certain programs for training, safety, documentation, or promotional purposes.
Identifiable photographs, videos, interviews, testimonials, or recordings of a minor participant will be used for public promotional or marketing purposes only when appropriate permission has been obtained from the participant’s parent or legal guardian.
Media permission may be presented as a separate consent and may be optional unless recording is necessary for the specific program, such as video-based player analysis.
Declining promotional media permission will not automatically prevent a participant from joining a program unless the activity’s primary purpose involves recording, broadcasting, or content production.
The Company cannot guarantee that other participants, parents, spectators, facilities, news organizations, or members of the public will not capture images during public or shared events.
19. Website Use
The website is provided to help visitors learn about our programs, submit inquiries, complete registration, schedule services, make payments, and receive general basketball-related information.
You agree not to:
Use the website for an unlawful purpose;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account or system;
Introduce malicious software or harmful code;
Interfere with the operation or security of the website;
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
Copy or commercially exploit website content without permission; or
Use automated systems to scrape, collect, or reproduce website information.
We may restrict or terminate website access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms.
20. Website Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information. However, website content may contain typographical errors, outdated information, or unintentional inaccuracies.
Program availability, pricing, schedules, locations, coaches, and descriptions may change.
We do not guarantee that:
The website will always be available;
Website access will be uninterrupted or error-free;
Every feature will work with every device or browser;
Website content will always be complete or current; or
Electronic communications will always be delivered successfully.
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the website without prior notice.
21. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may include links to third-party platforms, facilities, payment processors, scheduling tools, social media services, mapping services, or other external websites.
These services are operated independently and may have their own terms and privacy policies.
The Company does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, content, products, policies, or practices of third-party services.
Use of a third-party service is at your own discretion and subject to that provider’s terms.
22. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all website and program materials are owned by or licensed to 4 THE LOVE OF THE GAME, LLC, including:
Business names and branding;
Logos;
Website text and design;
Graphics and illustrations;
Photographs and videos;
Training materials;
Drill descriptions;
Program frameworks;
Worksheets;
Digital resources; and
Promotional content.
Materials may be viewed or downloaded for personal, noncommercial use when expressly made available for that purpose.
You may not reproduce, modify, sell, license, distribute, publish, publicly display, or commercially use Company materials without prior written permission.
You may not use photographs or recordings of other participants for commercial, harmful, misleading, or inappropriate purposes.
23. Children’s Privacy
Website registrations, inquiries, payments, and communication forms are intended to be completed by adults.
Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly through the website. A parent or legal guardian should provide any information needed to register a child.
Information concerning a minor will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and used for legitimate purposes such as:
Registration;
Program placement;
Emergency communication;
Health and safety;
Attendance;
Payment administration;
Parent communication; and
Services authorized by the parent or legal guardian.
Parents should review the Privacy Policy for additional information about the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information.
24. SMS Messaging Terms
By providing a mobile telephone number and affirmatively opting in to receive text messages from 4 THE LOVE OF THE GAME, LLC, you agree to these SMS Messaging Terms.
Types of Messages
Messages may include:
Responses to inquiries;
Registration updates;
Appointment confirmations;
Training reminders;
Schedule or location changes;
Weather or cancellation notices;
Payment reminders;
Program announcements;
Follow-up communications; and
Promotional offers when separately authorized.
Consent
Your consent to receive promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing or participating in a program.
You represent that you are the authorized user of the telephone number provided and that you are at least 18 years old.
Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency may vary based on your registrations, appointments, inquiries, and communication preferences.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
After an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You may also communicate a reasonable request to stop receiving messages through another available contact method.
Opting out of promotional messages does not prevent the Company from sending nonmarketing communications when legally permitted and reasonably necessary to administer an existing registration, transaction, safety matter, or service request.

You agree that electronic records, notices, disclosures, acknowledgments, and signatures may satisfy applicable requirements that communications be provided in writing.

26. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
The Company disclaims warranties regarding website operation, availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and noninfringement to the extent such warranties may legally be disclaimed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or protection that cannot legally be excluded.
27. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4 THE LOVE OF THE GAME, LLC and its owners, employees, coaches, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from:

Reliance on website information;
Website interruptions or technical errors;
Third-party websites or services;
Lost data or electronic communications;
Schedule changes or facility closures; or
Lost or damaged personal property.
Claims involving participation in basketball activities, personal injury, assumption of risk, or the rights of a minor will be governed by applicable law and any separately executed participation agreement or waiver.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.
28. Damage to Property
A parent or legal guardian may be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage caused by a participant’s intentional, reckless, or willful misconduct.
This may include damage to basketball equipment, training equipment, rented facilities, vehicles, or another person’s property.
Normal wear and tear or accidental damage arising from ordinary participation will be evaluated based on the circumstances.
29. Compliance With Facility Rules
Programs may take place at facilities owned or operated by third parties.
Participants, parents, guardians, and spectators must comply with applicable facility rules, including rules related to:
Parking;
Food and beverages;
Footwear;
Court access;
Photography;
Spectator areas;
Emergency procedures;
Restricted areas; and
Opening and closing times.
Violation of facility rules may result in removal from the facility or program.
30. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or a written agreement, legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in Hillsborough County, Florida
31. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
An invalid provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose as closely as possible.
32. No Waiver
A failure by the Company to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
33. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, applicable registration policies, and any separately signed participation documents form the agreement governing website use and participation in Company programs.
Program-specific written agreements may contain additional terms.
34. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through email, text message, registration notices, or other reasonable methods.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated or legally permitted.
Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised website terms. Material changes affecting an existing paid registration will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
